Why are tasers so damn funny?

First it was the “Don’t taste me, bro” guy and now we have this guy:

But if a picture is worth one thousand words, this YouTube video must be worth one million words!  It’s amazing how quickly he goes down when zapped with 50,000 volts.

Say what you will about whether it was justified or not, you have to admit that the cop is a pretty good shot. He hit a moving target, while he himself was running. and the taser “probes” only travel at 100 mph (unlike a 9mm bullet which travels at nearly 750 mph). Pretty impressive.

Unnecessary? Maybe. Hilarious? Definitely.
